DAB - Behind The Story

My first thoughts on this word was that it was a negative thing to do, to dab. This word speaks to a half-hearted effort and that is how this story began. Not far into the story my ‘dabber’ became a heroine.

She dabs, but she does not dabble!

Does she go on to great things, create new art and redefine love and respect? I would like to think so as this story could have had so much further to go than I could do in 1000 words.

Sometimes the best thing to do is be light and careful - and I see that side of this word now.

CAB - Behind The Story

Yes, I do have the right picture - I have always been fascinated with chance meetings and this one just sort of took off. Once you read it the pic will make sense - hopefully!

SORRY - Behind the Story

First up, sorry for not posting the blog for this story when it went up. I got caught up with other things and the blog wasn’t done — won’t do that again — will be more organised.

My thoughts on this story came from realising how difficult it is for some to say sorry, let alone do it right. Our defence mechanisms seem to take control and a fear of not being right often overwhelms us. It is illusionary that fear but it often leads to more things to be sorry about.

I’ve found saying sorry to be an empowering and freeing thing to do - whether it is a little sorry or a big one!

Go out there and practice the art of a proper good sorry … let me know how you go!
